Wellbeing & Mental Health

In a world where young people face constant pressure and change, mental health and well-being are essential foundations for growth. Our aim at aLphabet is to offer immediate emotional support, empathetic assistance, guidance, mindfulness practices and information to help our learners navigate challenges, make informed decisions and connect them with appropriate resources and interventions, ultimately fostering a healthier, more resilient generation.

Daily Practices for a Lifetime of Strength

Small daily practices can shape a lifetime of strength — here are some of the reminders we live by:

Self-Care

  • Rest is productive — your brain and body need recovery time.
  • Taking care of your body is also taking care of your mind.
  • Disconnecting from screens helps you reconnect with yourself.

Perspective

  • Doing your best will look different every day.
  • It’s okay not to be okay sometimes.
  • Progress matters more than perfection.
  • You don’t have to have it all figured out right now.

Growth

  • Mistakes are proof that you’re learning.
  • Every win matters — celebrate even the small ones.
  • Comparing yourself to others steals your joy — focus on your own journey.

Relationships & Support

  • Asking for help shows strength, not weakness.
  • Boundaries are healthy — it’s okay to say no sometimes.
  • Gratitude and kindness improve your own well-being as much as others’.

Meet our Well-being Committee

This dedicated team brings together teachers, students, and parents to champion a culture of care across the school. Through collaborative initiatives and open dialogue, the committee works to ensure that every member of our community feels supported, heard, and valued.

We also have a responsive email helpline in place as well to address the emotional and social needs of our students with care, confidentiality and professionalism.
