Middle Years Programme (MYP)

Service, Action and Personal Project – Learning Through Impact

From Grade 6 to 10, students engage in meaningful community service and self-driven projects that build empathy, responsibility, and real-world problem-solving skills. Through the Community Project and Personal Project, they create impactful outcomes, reflect deeply on their learning, and develop as confident changemakers.

Our Four Pillars

These core elements guide our inquiry-led approach and foster student agency.

Approaches To Learning (ATLs)

Developing skills for critical thinking, communication, and self-management.

Approaches To Teaching

Guiding students with inquiry-based methods and real-world contexts.

Global Contexts

Global Contexts

Connecting learning to shared human experiences and global challenges.

Concepts

Concepts

Building deep understanding through big, transferable ideas.

Global Contexts

Just as the Primary Years Programme uses transdisciplinary themes to foster big-picture thinking, in the MYP these are transformed into Global Contexts. These act as lenses through which students inquire into subject knowledge while building conceptual understanding, making learning both relevant and impactful.

Criterion-Related Assessment

Assessment in the MYP focuses on building skills, deep understanding, and reflection. We use a balanced approach to measure how students' thinking is evolving.

Formative Feedback

Ongoing feedback to guide learning and skill development in every subject.

Summative Tasks

End-of-unit evaluations that measure achievement against IB criteria.

Unit Showcases

Held twice a year, these dynamic events allow students to present their work to the community.

Concept-Driven Assessments

End-of-semester assessments that ensure deep understanding and prepare students for future success.

Resilience and Readiness

Through bold design projects, artistic expression, and intellectual challenge, MYP students grow into resilient and ready changemakers.
