Service as Action (DP)
Learning moves beyond the classroom as students in the DP engage in creative, physical, and service-oriented projects that make a real impact. Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the DP. Whether it’s artistic expression, athletic challenges, or social impact work at local, national, or global levels. Students don’t just learn about the world — they actively contribute to it.
The Three Strands of CAS
Creativity
Engaging in the arts and other experiences that stretch imagination and problem-solving, helping students think differently and express themselves in different ways.
Activity
Pursuing physical challenges that build resilience, well-being, and a balanced lifestyle, complementing academic learning with energy and focus.
Service
Participating in voluntary initiatives that make a difference - fostering empathy, respect, and understanding, while ensuring the dignity and rights of everyone involved.
