aLphabet internationaL schooL is the brainchild of Kavita Saraf, an educator whose heart and inspired mind is at the crux of the institution. Her vision to create life-long learners is evident in the carefully and intrinsically designed curriculum and teaching methods rolled out by her remarkable team of teachers.
“I started aLphabet out of a deep belief that young minds are capable of far more than what the traditional school system allows. Too often, education has focused on rote learning and memorization, causing students to hold back from developing critical thinking and true independence. I wanted to build a place where students are inspired, not just taught. My vision was for a school where curiosity is celebrated, every child learns to take charge of their education, and they are prepared for life - not just for exams. aLphabet exists to help each student discover their potential and grow into an individual who can think for themselves, act with responsibility, and make a real difference in the world.”

1980s
Pursued a Major in Education and a Montessori Diploma in Kolkata, building the bedrock of her expertise.
1988-2026
Gained 38+ years of dedication as an elementary school teacher in a prime Chennai school, honing her craft.
2009
Moved to Chennai to create a personalized, international learning experience, turning her vision into reality with aLphabet.
2023
Honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for 'Outstanding Individual Achievement and Distinguished Services to the Nation'.
